Our philosophy has, and always will be to build letters and signage with the same quality we learned 30 years ago. In today's economy, the sign business as a whole has dropped the quality of materials and compromised craftsmanship to be more competetive in pricing. Where our competitors now use machines to build letters with cheaper materials, at Carolina Sign and Service we use the same materials to manufacture those signs as we did before those machines were built.
Carolina Sign and Service is UL Approved & Listed and our letters consist of .080 to .050 aluminum, router-cut backs and faces to assure precision letters. We hand-wrap the letter returns (sides) and spot-weld the backs to the returns and then caulk the insides to prevent moisture from getting inside. The faces of our letters are all made from 3/16" Plexiglass or acrylic and we use only U.S. made LEDs in our letters. Our channel letters are built to last a lifetime at a very competitive price.
Carolina Sign and Service can build cabinets from the smallest wall signs to the largest of any "custom built" architectural signage our customers may require. Our cabinet / box signs are built to our customer specifications using either .063 aluminum skins with a steel frame or from aluminum extrusion. Our extrusion cabinets are hand-welded and strengthened with aluminum angle and tubing, and our aluminum skinned cabinets are built with steel angle or tubing depending on size. We use high quality LEDs in our cabinets which has replaced fluorescent lamps now days in the sign business.
Our Cabinets / box signs are made from your specifications, with or without sign faces and graphics. Cabinets are primed with a two-part metal primer and painted with oil based industrial enamel paints to your color specifications.
